Hosted at Fibbers in York, Riff Media have put together a two day festival consisting of a line-up surrounding the alternative music scene. Opting to use one stage for all acts, Pile Up Festival are making it possible for attendees to see all the acts without missing a set list or needing to go very far – and with names such as Teenage Bottlerocket, A Wilhelm Scream and Oceans Ate Alaska, it’s shaping up to be one of the most anticipated festivals of the year supporting and promoting the local UK scene and introducing music lovers to new bands.
Pile Up Festival has worked tirelessly over the last few months putting together a festival that adheres to a multitude of flavours. Post-hardcore? Sorted. Punk Rock? Sorted. Metal? Pile Up Festival have you covered. Not only is Pile Up Festival supporting the growth of creativity through music, but are putting profits of the festival towards purchasing food goods and supplies for the York’s homeless. Not only is the festival giving back to the community, but also offering a massive £100 worth in merch as well as 2 lifetime festival passes to one lucky weekend ticket holder
Tickets are priced at £35 for a weekend pass, or alternatively £23 for one of the two days. The festival set to take place on June 22nd and 23rd is huge for the UK scene, drawing more attention to us as a nation of all-out music lovers supporting our venues.
