Allegations surrounding UK pop punk band, Moose Blood, surfaced over a year ago involving the lead singer invading the privacy of a former fan. Yesterday evening, Moose Blood addressed these allegations by submitting a statement online where they say “Until now we have resisted giving it any credence by commenting. However, the many repeats on social media have left us no option but to make our position clear.” They also added, “we are taking legal action.”
In response, the victim tweeted “”I’m not gonna be pushed over and silenced, the truth will always out.”
Last year, drummer Glenn Harvey was removed from the band following sexual harassment allegations from two years earlier that was reported on Alt Press. Harvey sent unsolicited nude photos to a woman in 2015.
In respect, we will not name the victim while this is being dealt with and due to the legal nature of the situation, both parties are now seeking legal action. Moose Blood are soon to be on tour as well as releasing an album, although make sure to follow the story for any changes in plans.
